When you’re after a big gulp of water from a bottle with a sports cap, sometimes it’s really hard to find a stainless steel water bottle with a decent water flow through the spout. We believe we have found ‘The Best …” water flow from a sports cap, and the winner is Klean Kanteen.
The Klean Kanteen Sports 2.0 cap has a feature most others don’t, a small silicone plug/seal which allows for great water flow. There are two small concessions to make for this ultimate water flow.
1) the lids do whistle a little as you drink from them
2) the lids are not 100% water-tight. If you bump the silicone valve, they can leak. Our own personal testing found no leaks, but they’re advertised as not being leak-proof. Don’t let one of these roll around a gym bag or in a handbag with an iPhone or anything else electrical and valuable.
